yep, as opposed to earlier screamo like Orchid or Grade that were a lot less accessible, the 2000's had a lot of screamo-lite bands. Also, if you notice where the line breaks are, that's where the paragraphs are. I wrote this in Word and forgot to doublespace between them before uploading, I would edit it if I could.

They had a few songs with screaming vocals and the instrumentation is just alt rock. Screams don't make something screamo.

Box full of sharp objects and Maybe Memories were kinda screamo though

Say Days Ago and Maybe Memories a little. All the rest nah.

The Used suck.
I'm here to troll.
Everything after In Love and Death was just a joke.
You can't play for a 16 year-old audience forever and I can't believe these guys are even still around.

might get this. loved their first album. really, really digged their second. liked their third. made a miniscule effort with artwork but i'd just got a bit tired if the sugar-pop emo singing. i want more screamo. songs like sound effects and overdramatics, say days ago etc were brutal. songs like smother me made me queezy from the cheesiness. i'll check this out i think.

looks like these guys are all USED UP!

The bonus songs aren't really bonus songs and make me feel like this album is much better than if it was just the first twelve tracks. I'm talking about Machine and Disaster, not the three bonus acoustic songs but those are good too and all songs from this album.

I've been a fan of The Used since they were playing shows to 10 people in SL,UT and this is honestly one of my favorite albums from them. If I want to hear "The old Used" I'll go listen to their first album or In Live and Death. I, for one, am glad that The Used isn't a one-trick pony and has shown such diversity across all of their albums. Every album is different, but they all have the characteristics of the band we fell in love with. Some people have become conditioned to bands releasing albums that all sound alike. I like the fact that their albums are so distinct. It takes a lot more creativity and talent to produce an album that isn't simply a re-packaging of the last album with new lyrics. Each album from The Used has its own personality and flavor. If you don't like that, go listen to Metallica.
