So Jealous, The Con and Sainthood are all easy 4's for me. What an amazing run of albums! Some of the most emotional numbers on this one. Still a pleasant listen nonetheless!

Have you checked out Still Jealous yet? It's a re-recording of these songs, but the Quinn sisters reverse their roles on each song. Sara's version of I Won't Be Left is absolutely phenomenal

So strange, I was actually listening to the original version of I Won't Be Left as I saw your comment lol. I did give it a listen when it first dropped, but I still prefer the original album. Think it's cool that they reversed their roles though, I didn't even realise that! Will have to give it another spin.
Just had to bump this to a 4.5 as well. As much as I love The Con, I'd argue this hits so much harder emotionally. I love it.

I'm listening to The Con right now as we're talking about this! :]
The Con is still my favorite overall, but you really can't go wrong with most of Tegan and Sara's music; even their early alt/folk rock stuff has a lot of good material. But So Jealous/Con/Sainthood is definitely the sweet spot of their career

Feels like it's that time of year again to blast through their albums haha!
Oh God yeah, can't argue with that, The Con is also a masterpiece. It depends on my mood between So Jealous and The Con, I definitely think The Con is their most consistent album, but So Jealous ticks all of the emotional boxes for me. Love how raw it is.
Sainthood is also great in its own right too!
