Never been a huge fan of Cattle Decapitation but this album is beast.

shit band, awesome album covers

Their music has always just seemed unorganized to me. Maybe that's the tech death influence, I dunno, but it's never flowed well for me. Def not a 5 tho.

And why do all you fucking retards think this is a troll review? It's not, like at all. He obviously put effort into it, and even though this probably isn't a 5 for me, it's still a well-written review.
Pos'd btw

Yeah I mean it may not be the most well-written review nor does it try to appear as unbiased as possible, you got to keep in mind that there is no such thing as objectivity in music unless we're talking about how talented bands are either at using their instruments or at composing intricate songs. But it should be obvious to everyone that that's moot as some bands are technical but bland and others keep it simple but good.
tl;dr: Pr0nogo really likes this a lot and doesn't afraid of showing that.

They can easily come across as asynchronous, which is how I described their structuring on The Harvest Floor, but I think it adds to their mix. They don't overdo it and that's one of the legion of things that makes them unique. My favourite aspect about Cattle Decapitation is that not only are they unique, but they sound very, very good. Some bands are unique but sound shit, and others sound decent/good but are just the same as the next band on the list. These guys walk the line (or bolt down at the speed of light, considering their BPM).

I wouldn't call this a perfect release, but it's definitely their best to date. They mixed up a whole bunch of influences this time out, and all the tedium I felt on their older albums has all but gone away. Didn't expect this one at all.
Anyways, despite an overload of hyperbole (which is to be expected from a 5) this is a solid review dude. Kudos.

The snarly high vox are like lol, and the gindy lows sound not-forceful at all and a lot generic.

Well, his snarled vox haven't changed much (other than being more awesome) so if you didn't like them off of The Harvest Floor (or any other past albums), then you likely will not enjoy them on this record.

I've never seen such a mediocre band take down so many Sputnik metallers hahaha.

I'm sorry but the review is a tad awkward, it reads a bit like a highschool essay.
Haven't listened to this completely, though I doubt this will be a higher than 3 or so for me.
