Holy shit this album rules. The melodies are way tighter than Stranger than Fiction

One of my lesser favourite BR albums.
Don't Sell Me Short is a classic track though.

I believe the strongest songs on here are You've Got a Chance, There Will Be A Way and Don't Sell Me Short.

this album is so criminally underrated it drives me insane
youve got a chance, new america, 1000 memories, a streetkid named desire, hopeless housewife, there will be a way, dont sell me short... all fucking amazing and you all should feel bad for giving it such a low average in the BR catalog

Album was ahead of it's time; it's the one album that has aged for the better with every year until maybe it'll finally get the recognition it deserves from the entire fanbase.

i truly hope so
gonna jam this tonight
the only thing i dont understand is i love my computer...
possibly the worst br song

Actually, I kind of like that song nowadays; the chorus & the post chorus / solo is superb, but the verse still does sound goofy, possibly because the verse lyrics are so literal (personification of the actual computer) vs the chorus which detaches and goes more metaphorical & psychological.
I also hate Raise Your Voice for similar reasons: too literal, too simple.

and now it's time to set the agenda
learn the past, make it last
share the wealth, hold your fire
conserve life, make it right
kill the hate
negotiate
there will be a way

Greg Graffin is way too into this at times. I didn't get into BR honestly till 'the Process of Belief' plus I had to grow up and become a punk, I guess. Why is Greg Graffin so happy singing a "Streetcar Named Desire". People make fun of "I Love My Computer." I think that song is great and some others. But Tell Greg maybe to not get into that Streetcar song song he's just totally 10/10 into it.
I think 'No Substance' has some gems, but this album if you just want some pure comedy and actual legit good songs too here it is. Greg Graffin singing way too hard for songs that don't even deserve it. The most POP Bad Religion ever got.

I have to post again! Greg Graffin called this an contractual album. I still think the Streetcar sucks because Greg has no reason to be so hyped and happy singing for it. At least "I Love my Computer" feels appropriate and more than ever.
I bet Greg likes that song as he predicted the future.
