In my book the way-to-obvious best VDGG album that it is not at all recognized for. How come: As far as Progressive Rock goes it is here not as fully advanced as on the likes like "Pawn". But if somebody goes just for music that touches you this is IT!

It is like comparing Biggy and Tupac... skillz and pure feeling! The choice is always obvious for me!

Refugees! the single best nod at the feeling of hope. If all humans were capable of getting down to the feeling that they achieve with this song, the world would be called Johnlennonimaginesthis

The armada-like conquering of the listeners attention with the apocalyptic Arche-Noah visionlike The Flood where the prog-Rock really comes through is another outstanding track capturing its lateron more advanced approach with story-telling simmilar to a book with chapters.

The opener Darkness with the most noticable sax-outro ever and its eastern melodic patterns that stays JUST interesting enough to not let its nerve-wrecking frequencies take over too much.

For me its clear: Peter Hammill is the most outstanding man to ever come out of the Progressive Rock genre... all hail to Peter Gabriel, Steve Howe, Robert Fripp, Greg Lake, Peter Gilmour, Moratz and Wakeman but nobody has this outlet of masterpieces: the grande finale of A LOUSE IS NOT A HOME like whatdafuqqqqqqq!

Perfect! You wont regret it, even a 3,5 makes up for a great relisten so theres nothing to loose.
