Scuples, you don't like Closure? You need a damn psychiatrist. It is the best song on the album. Beautiful. Genius. Moving. You're nuts.

great review.
don't care what y'all say, closure is one of the most dense songs opeth has ever done, and my personal favorite of their 'clean' stuff.

Why is this album under Metal?

Well because Opeth is classified under the metal genre. I don't think you can classify specific albums, or else this album would be some place else.

Ah, sorry. My mistake, I was sure Opeth were under Progressive.

Well, it's not that I don't like Closure, it's that it's nowhere near as good as the other tracks on the album.

The parts that are there are good, but the fact that the song has five riffs in total puts me off. Plus, the opening vocals are terrible.

One of my favorite albums, it really got me into more acoustic and clean stuff, and lets you see a different side of the band. Probably one of my favorite albums by them. I love the song Closure

This album will always stand the test of time for me, and it is my favorite Opeth album of all time..hands down. It might not even closely resemble the melodic death metal they put out, but it stands it's own and stands out...and I love it. Soothing, beautiful, breathtaking.

I love this album. The only Opeth album I would think is a little better is Still Life. Good review.

I was just going to bump this. Too homogeneous but more interesting and palatable than previous albums.

Sure the album has one theme and style. That was the whole idea behind it.

You want to know what would have been cool? If they released Deliverance and Damnation at the same time in the same package. Then it would be an epic classic.
