I love this album, I'm getting obsessed with it at the moment even though I bought it last year.

Awesome review man, one of the best I've seen.

Yes. I'd say try to pick up 3 Dimensional Aperature next...one of the best songs on the album IMO.

Embraced By Desolation's chorus = catchiness incarnate.

I actually prefer this album over their new one. The songs seemed to be structured better. Good review by the way.

Very good review and very good album. Does anyone think he sounds at all like Claudio Sanchez?

God the vocals and lyrics butcher the two songs on the album page, but the instrumental sections are great. I might get this.

I've actually changed my thoughts on this album. Its still pretty good but now I think their new one is much better than this.

Man, the intro to Splintered Visions is sick. Crazy harmonizing arpeggios on the guitars. Even the bass gets a part in the parts after it.

This was THE metal album for me in '04. If your a fan of the genre, get ahold of it. You'll understand why. This Message Edited On 10.02.07

I picked this album up based on Cocaine's recommendation; hoping to tide me over till Protest The Hero's new one comes out. And I'm defiantly glad i started with this album.

Not sure if I'm the only one who noticed this but they seem to have a couple brief Nintendo tunes playing in a few of there songs and its pretty bad ass, check out 2:54(when the first one pops up) on Embraced By Desolation--i swear it sounds so close to the victory music from Final Fantasy.

So yeah its been a couple great weeks since i got it. If it holds up over the next few months I'll need to expand to their other records.
