didn't really see the purpose of that on this record or any other for matter unless the creator wanted to space the ending with silence if it's listener had this on repeat, but whatever, the non-silenced parts were great.
Silent parts are great for building up tension and holy fuck does this album ever do that.

After a few more listens, you will forget the fast/ slow parts even exist. It only turns into intensity.

Great album here, rating might go up in time. What ive heard from diSEMBOWLMENT though is a lot better.

i still dont really know what to think of this though

On par with diSEMBOWELMENT, their compositions are a bit more thought out and like I said in the review, they can do so much more in a lesser amount of time and still make it work.

idk i like the way that each section on TItP sort of oozes out of the next, its like each riff is compositional evolution of one to the next
i feel like these songs are a bit stale and really dont go anywhere interesting despite sounding good

Maybe it's just me but I like how they condense their ideas into little bitty nuggets of golden death/ doom. Whatev's, I'm probably in the minority on this one.
Unfortunately the link off the blog was taken down.
Metalsucks took it down cause they want you to buy it.

Thanks Willie : ).
I don't listen to much of death or doom but this is really amazing.
There is something special about this album and it really doesn't make me cream my death/ doom pants, more like it hits me in that place that is like a once in a blue moon type orgasm.

Holy fuck, this is amazing Wizard

Hey, give the band that compliment, not me. I just relay good music.

I don't think it's quite as good as diSEMBOWELMENT, but it definitely pushes the right buttons. Whilst it might not do all that much new, there are enough really interesting moments along with the fantastic atmosphere to keep me enthralled.
Absolutely concur with your observation of how well it flows. I think that's probably what this release does best to me. Each track transitions effortlessly into the next, and within individual tracks the shifts from more minimal doom melodies to other more intense parts are just as smooth.
Would have been nice to see a full album, rather than just an EP though. Oh, well.

Thought I recognised the band name, opened for these guys earlier this year.
Fantastic live.

Of course alot of people are going to sway in favour of diSEMBOWELMENT and I would too considering I'm a still an elitist prick when it comes to old school metal. Sometimes though, bands that rise from the ashes of their forefathers just know what they did right in the past and tighten it up. This is one of those albums for me, just an opinion though.

Fecking amazing piece of music. Evil, majestic, pummeling and dynamic.
