This sounds awesome
|

sounds like any nu-metal band from the early 2000s :[
|
| |
I was just going to buy it, but it only seems available through legal channels if you live in the UK ):
|
| |
Holy shit greg, you're like a review tank.
Those songs you posted sound pretty solid.

@kingsoby1:
It sounds a bit like nu-metal/alt metal at some points, mainly in its most melodic songs. I don't see a huge influence though.
@Willie:
I bought it through iTunes... and I live in Poland. It's a strange marketing strategy that it isn't available in the US yet.
@Wolfhorde:
Haha. Thanks man. Much appreciated.

I would reckon it has a slightly delayed release since sometimes stuff is released in it's region first. (seems to be available in European countries in iTunes but not the U.S.)

SOUNDS LIKE TDEP 5/5

^Hell yeah. It makes an excellent, but physically exhausting double listening session with Option Paralysis. I checked it. It worked out awesome.

dude, this is nothing like DEP

Have you listened to the entire album or do you base your opinion on the songs I've posted?

based on the songs you posted, i really dont want to hear the album :'[

They're admittedly the most accessible stuff on here. When these guys get crazy they do sound like Dillinger. I'd even say that some of their shorter cuts such as Milk Hog and You Deserve A Medal would fit perfectly onto one of Dillinger's records.

Is there a stream of this anywhere? Because before further delving into anything I'd like to hear more than some songs.

The stream expired some time ago. You can listen to some snipets from the disc on iTunes. I'd done it before buying.

Idk, snippets aren't really convincing for me and there doesn't seem to be a DL. (probably not a big deal for someone with a real income, but definitely for a poor student like me)

Yeah. I know what you mean. I was a student once and frankly was originally against paying for downloading music. Now, dl music seems to be more practical as I don't have to wait for an album to arrive, which was often a pain in the ass (especially when the album wasn't physically released in my country). I still buy physical copies from time to time.
|
| |
Well, DLs are pretty much the only thing that is not incredibly overprized and in cases of bandcamp and similar also more sensical than paying two times (or more) that for a CD and the artist won't see much of the money. But despite being incredibly oldschool (not having paypal or anything similar) I'm also on a very tight budget especially with being.. or rather "becoming" a musician myself.

Good luck on becoming a musician. It's indeed quite pricey.
I'm a fan of bandcamp. It really gives obscure bands the opportunity to earn some money. Plus, you can often stream the whole album there. These guys for some reason switched from bandcamp to iTunes.

Thanks, fortunately I didn't get myself into the EXTREMELY pricey affairs. (vocals, didge and various drums, original plan was drumkit, that got a little too space-y and expensive though)
Yeah, bandcamp pretty much became my favorite platform in that direction, especially since myspace has gone down the drain over the last couple o' years.
