A good CD but not a great one for Slayer. This is where they start to drop off in quality. A lot of songs I like on here, but clearly this is not the same Slayer we know and love. I like Dittohead a lot and it's my favorite song on here. Other notables include Sex. Murder. Art. and Divine Intervention. At least Slayer never sold out and tried to change, they simply stopped sounding as good as they used to. Only serious Slayer fans should get this one. Casual fans need not apply.

I think this album is quite terrible, honestly. And this is coming from someone who thinks both Reign in Blood and God Hates Us All are classics.

I hate this album. The sound.. is horrible. The drumming is met with incredible skill on Killing Fields, but sounds atrocious.

Good album. Much more technique that RIB, plus some of the best solos Kerry King ever did.

Its spelled Grunge, and @Dave de Sylvia, it was still very popluar and wasnt dying at all. people think because kurt died in '94, grunge did as well. There was grunge comming out as late as '96, so this isnt true at all, and to the reviewer, the metal scene wasnt dead either, it was just shifting in direction, from thrash to groove, death, and black metal, and by '94, the original thrash movement was long gone. in fact, i dont really see "true" thrash being made after '92 (with the exception of this band of corse.) Divine Intervention is a fine album, and i think it has some of Kerry Kings best solos ever.

divine intervention wasn't that bad at all.It that had some really good fast type of riffing and some tasty melodic stuff similar to south of heaven. It's most likely their best album with Paul bostaph

I'm on my own with this one.

Christ Illusion is the only Slayer album I didn't like.
