'Iron Maiden’s first live double album since their ‘Flight 666’ documentary/soundtrack release back in 2009'

2009 is only three years ago; three years between live double albums is not much. Once a live double was an event; now it's just something to chuck out to pay for a second swimming pool. Still at least they haven't used 'death' in the title. If this album has any overdubbing etc then perhaps it should be called 'En vitro'.

@south_of_heaven 11:

I know this comes a little late, but it really is a kick ass banner. You'd think one of the staff members would have posted an official review to back it up.

Then again, that's probably asking to be upstaged.

Great live album, but pales in comparison with Live After Death.

Still, if you're like me and have not listened to Death on the Road or Flight 666, this is worth your

time.

I like how this has been the banner ad for Sputnik for like a million years and none of the users give
two shits.

@ RunoftheMill: Death on the Road's preformance of Lord of the Flies is a good reason to take a look.

@ Wreath: My thoughts exactly. Somebody had to review this and all.

@Ikarus: The only thing I'm iffy about is finding Number of the Beast, Hallowed Be Thy Name, etc. on each of these Iron Maiden ones. I've just recently started listening to live albums, so I guess it's worth a look, and I really like Dance of Death.

Speaking of which, I really liked that song on this album, probs my fav, along with When the Wild Wind Blows and The Evil That Men Do

This is pretty sweet apart from Hallowed Be Thy Name - did Dave Murray just forget to play for about 3 and a half minutes or something??? The performances on Rock In Rio, and the concert in Sweden were much better.

Rock In Rio was the best live album from this band you could wish for.

Honestly, haven't heard this album. Just rated this what I'd give the concert I went to on the tour
