i just think it lacks substance and that the 'new grind' scene sports more variety and personality and thus makes it more enjoyable. i admit that this album must've been very relevant back when it was released though

well i dont agree with this hipster trend that only old bands are worth praising. there is a lot of grind gems out there that surpass some of the more influential stuff of the 80s and early 90s

im not denying their historical importance but i think their fusion of death metal and grindcore was perfected by bands that came after them (Pig Destroyer, Exhumed and Defeated Sanity, among others)

Not sure how anyone can be a grindcore or death metal fan and hate this album. It seems like it'd be a huge paradox.
