this review is getting basically ZERO views because when you type 'Antichrist' into the search field it doesn't bring you to this band, and if you try typing 'Antichrist [Canada]' into the search field that doesn't work either. This site sucks that way, so basically what you have to do is search: 'Antichris' and it will bring you to a list of possible options with 'Antichrist [Canada]' listed.

"Generally speaking, modern death death metal is a disappointment. Most bands are taking the route of ultra-clean production, sampled drum sounds, and a ***ty copycat guitar tone / "riffing style".
I think that statement is kind of broad and dumb. There is a lot of modern death metal that is just as filthy as this, I think it all depends on what/when you're looking.

its meant to be a broad statement, hence the "generally speaking" to start it off. you can find it dumb if you want, but i find the statement to be highly accurate because the majority of modern death metal IS overproduced.
