for me one of the biggest themes being presented here is how we all strive for greatness but are afraid of it at the same time. It's about being afraid of ourselves, sort of.

Yeah mvood the Moon & Antarctica has a pretty dark vibe. Tiny Cities Made of Ash feels like a bad trip, it oddly reminds me of Radiohead's The National Anthem.

This is not a 'desolate' album and the reviewer alluding to them creating their own hell, from which there's 'no escape' is a ridiculous and inaccurate assertion. More than anything though, I don't get the descriptors of it being 'freezing' and such -- sure, it's somewhat 'cold' at points, but it's also very breezy and inviting.
