lol. i agree actually, but it may be a little too much for some people. and it really affects me on this album especially because i absolutely love LaBrie's vocals.

Heaps of people hate Labrie's vocals, I personally love them and this album probably showcases his range a bit better than say TOT, anyone reading this that hasn't got the album get it now!

Love the story line review : )

I like your review but there's one thing that bugs me:

"--Could be more keyboards"

I just got the DT Keyboard Anthology a little while ago and as I'm looking through all the sheet music for the songs off Scenes From a Memory and listening to the album, I noticed Jordan Rudess is doing an insane amount of work. There's hardly a spot where he isn't doing a major role in the riffing (or doing those insane synth solos). Maybe the keyboards just weren't loud or obvious enough? Just keep in mind that if it isn't a guitar solo, Rudess is either playing along with some effects that blend into it or has his own role.

Also, anything that isn't bass, drums/percussion, guitar, or vocals is also done by Rudess (including the sitar in "Home").

Good review though. Helped me understand the story and describes the album very well.

Good review. You could have written more about the music and less about the story though. This is one of my faviourite albums of all time.

it wud be cool if they played the whole CD and made a video about the story line and made it into a sort of short movie almost like "the wall" in a sort of way
