@ maidenpmcc: I happen to have heard both albums in their entirety:
The guitars: McCready & Gossard >>>> Cobain
The drums: Irons >>>> Grohl
The bass: Ament >>>> Novoselic
The vocals: Vedder >>>> Cobain
It's still an opinion though, so I can't say I have the truth by the tail. If it helps, I dug Nevermind, but find it nowhere near this album.
May I add that Alice in Chains is my least fav of the Big Four??

dannyboy89, for me it's just the other way round from your opinion. I just find Ten really boring and I couldn't get into it. I think it pales sooo much in comparison to Nevermind. Nevermind is more exciting, heavier to an extent and has a better sound - Again, my opinion.
