been a huge fan of ulver since maybe 2005 and this album finally clicked with me

I need to revisit this and potentially bump my rating, the main reason for downrating this was/is the sheer perfection of its predecessor.

And I need to re-listen to its predecessor! I think Blood Inside transcends genres whereas perd city does not. Both excellent though.

This is one of the strangest and most original albums I've heard. It's impressive that most of it really works as the ultimate clusterfuck of random genres that it is. Only thing I can sort of compare it to is some Kayo Dot.
