Well, I enjoy this a lot so far, and I've been here an awful long time.

So I mean, take it as you will.

If you like it then it has my trust and I'll look into it. However, what genre does it delve into the most?

Listening to this for the first time, and it's pretty sweet.

It's like if The Contortionist focused more on technicality and less on atmosphere. Or Circle of Contempt with denser production and more tremelo-picking.

I would definitely say it leans more towards tech-death than deathcore, though, if that's what you meant.

their first lp was semi-deathcore and this is more tech-death in the veins of arkaik (and maybe even prog death), the production is pretty good on here too.

They totally dropped the deathcore act with this release, nothing -core about it anymore.

These guys probably made the best death metal release of 2011 in my opinion. Assemblage of the Wolves made my hair stand on end. And Cerebral Hybridization is a great song to get any metal fan into them. Worked on me.

Their older work kept me at bay for sometime. Wish I had checked this out earlier. Realistically, one of the better prog-death albums I've heard in a long time. Love that Black Metal-esque guitar at the start of the first track.
