Well you made yourself out to look like a jerk by just saying that the review "sucked". Real nice way to handle it man. I'm not arguing anymore, I dont feel like getting banned.

Great album and a nice review. I'd recommend you check out The Illusion Of Safety or at least the songs Deadbolt and To Awake and Avenge the Dead, thats more than not the definition of perfect Thrice.

hey man, good job with the review. I love this album, Silhouette and Stare At The Sun are my favourite tracks. I have to say I also think Dustin has a rad singing voice, but good review anyways.

As hard as it is to admit, I think me and Vheissu had a stupid argument. I don't think he knows that I hadn't actually heard Vheissu when I wrote this review. I listened to it later that night and heard Dustin "singing" and it was amazing. For some reason, I based the singing I heard in Silhouette on the whole albums "soft singing". Dustin is a great singer and I'm going to go edit that review right now.
Ask any teenage girl what punk is and she will simply reply "OMG! Punk is like Panic! At the Disco and Green Day"!
I've never heard a teenage girl say that.

I'll probably pick up Vheissu the next time I'm forced to go to Wal-Mart or something. I hate that place.

Wal*Mart owns you, and unfortunately, me and everyone else, too.

TAITA was a little overhyped, but still an amazing album. It's the logical extension of Illusion, but IMO it will never touch Illusion toe-to-toe, and Vheissu edges it out a bit just b/c it's far more organic and original.

They definitely got a bit more formulaic and structured... but then again, I really liked Illusion's schizophrenic qualities and find it still to be Thrice's secret weapon. But their songs were stronger and they meshed the techy-parts with the hooks better than they did in IOS, and it stands in my opinion as their strongest album, lyrically. Riley and Ed's skills were really the standout on the album, though. I absolutely creamed myself listening to Paper Tigers, Blood Clots, and Abolition Of Man when Riley really let loose the metal double-bass beast, and Ed's lines in Stare, Tigers, Melting Point Of Wax and Hoods were just phenomenal. Not to mention that Eclipse and Motion Isn't Meaning, the two b-sides left off the album, are some of my favorite Thrice songs ever written.

Nice review, though. Thrice changed my life and I know exactly how he felt when I first heard Illusion...

unfortunatly the secon dbiggest wal mart happens to be located in Homestead, Florida where i go to get stuff.argh sucks.

your review was good beyond, i just don't really see the need for another review. and with vheissu, it is extremely better crafted and entwined with their passion, which any fanboy would know reading off dustins journals. That and if you play and instrument.

btw for any of you WoW players, Dustin plays on the feathermoon server.

Great album. I like this one better than Illusion of Safety, although I got this one first so that might be why I lean towards this one. Either way, if you don't have it, get it.
