i always loved music box but everyone says its the worst track
|

I know! What the hell? It's one of my favorite Thrice songs. The post-hardcore elements that I loved long ago are quickly becoming my least favorite moments of this record, i.e. the end of "For Miles".

Music Box IS the worst song :D
|
| |
i must have sex with you
|
| |
"Hold Fast Hope" is my least favorite.
|
| |
Hold Fast Hope is one of my favorites. I also love For Miles and Red Sky exceptionally.
|
| |
Seriously, what is everyone's deal with "Music Box" is it the chiming of the music box in the beginning? It has probably the strongest chorus on the whole record imo.
|
| |
Weeeeee are not alllloooooonnnnneeeeee

This kind of contradicts what I said about the heavier sections of the album, but "Stand And Feel Your Worth" is probably my favorite song here.

Man, "Hold Fast Hope" is awesome. The only song on here with such straightforward intensity. Love it.
"Music Box" is probably one of the weaker tracks, but it's common knowledge that "Image of the Invisible" is the worst! I actually think the verses on "Music Box" are some of the strongest. The chorus is what feels a little lifeless to me.

Bliss is thrice more found in ‘For Miles’, ‘Of Dust and Nations’ and ‘Red Sky’, the first of which is I can safely declare is the best track on the record.
I see what you did there
Also, IoS is my favorite, although I absolutely love all of their work up to Beggars. Beggars wasn't my style, and it was a letdown.

"Seriously, what is everyone's deal with "Music Box" is it the chiming of the music box in the beginning? It has probably the strongest chorus on the whole record imo."
Not at all. The verse and chorus just don't seem like they belong in the same song, the transitions are especially awkward, etc. Although I obviously still enjoy the song, hence my rating and such

Music Box is just average and this album is not that.
Hold Fast Hope shreds. Dustin is all like "RAH" and I'm like fuck yeah dustin stay metal.
|
| |
Atlantic is the worst. bland chorus and no momentum. i always skip it.

Hard to believe this was in the 40's for 2005. Did people not realize how awesome thrice is/was back
then?
My favorite song on the album is Of Dust And Nations.. I used to play the living shit out of that
song. It creates such an amazing atmosphere.
They are all good but my least favorite would be Image Of The Invisible if I had to choose one.
Probably followed by Music Box but I do like both songs.

@Gilgamahesh Beggars is absolutely essential, I fucking love that record. It has some of their best songs, and is probably their second most consisent behind Vheissu.
@Asotamaki I know, I meant that I loved the Fire disc but those songs are great as well.
@Minty I didn't mention it but I seriously dig Atlantic's whole atmosphere and spacey vibe. There are some pretty nice melodies on that track.
@iambandersnatch I don't think people even realise how awesome they are now.

THE BEST TRACK IS OF DUST AND NATIONS
