BlutKind isn't an LP it's a compilation. Mostly stuff from Defcon and Small Chambermusicians. There's only a few previously unreleased tracks on it. Rudy's best work is Bunkertor 7 and Embryodead. Bunkertor 7 if you like more aggressive EBM with war and death overtones, Embryodead if you like more haunting, sad, and gothic overtones. Both are excellent. This album here is on par with those releases but does goth much better.

It's B-sides and rarities, with 2 new tracks - compilation indeed.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, this was quite good. Specifically, The Unseen was fantastic. And I thought those piano pieces were spaced out perfectly throughout the album.

This album's had a nice domino effect, first Valerius then this review then onto you.
Some of the tracks are far catchier than they ought to be!

Mhm, ever since I got it I've had bits and pieces of Dead Roses and The Unseen stuck in my head all the time.

I could definitely see this growing on me over time. Are their other albums worth checking out?

Honestly...no. If you must get another album of theirs, get their latest, and fourth album, Rebirth. It has Cathedral on it, which to me is just such a fucking killer song. The rest of the album is pretty good, too. The problem with these guys, as with many "goth" bands, is they got a bit too cliche and poppy. Their second and third albums are a bit meh as well. This album here is head and shoulders above their other releases.
