this was the first of his releases where the songs actually felt as long as they were.

I thought they definitely felt shorter than they are. Especially "Patient".

Imo Collapse was a bit lacking. Outside of Baldr's amazing outro, the first two tracks were a bit meh. Baldr had that lengthy spoken-word section and the riffs weren't loud enough, and Aptrgangr felt repetitive and directionless.

The intro with the samples is an awesome way to build up and kick off the album and plays perfectly into the concept. And Aptrgangr is an excellent track as well.

I just didn't like the whole "play the same riffs for seven minutes whilst a whiny lead wanders around a lot" part. I dunno. Maybe if it had the grim production that the ST had I'd like it just as much. That's probably it, actually.

The self-titled is his best yeah. Maybe it's a little long but I mean the bible plainly states that fornication and adultery are

exciting.

Collapse is my favorite. The Godspeed influence is huge on it.

I come up with the greatest (worstest) ideas at 1 AM. It's about two roomates. One is a straight-shooting, cynical, businessy white guy and the other is a guido who goes by "J-Weed." Perhaps they'll each learn something about eachother? Stay tuned for more!
