Currently on Lake Tahoe. I like the music and stuff but I don't know how much of a fan I am of her voice

I'm familiar with Hounds of Love and I don't remember disliking her voice listening to that, but something about this doesn't tickle my fancy too well

Tbh the first three tracks on this are the ones that take the most getting used to.

I feel the same way. If this becomes a 4.5 then I'd need to bump Hounds of Love to 5, but I was honestly shocked at how great I found this album to be. Biophilia too.

I'm only two songs deep, and I've loved every second of it. This album is so dense and beautiful.

Anyone noticed many female icons from the pre-20's are doing comebacks musically this year?
Björk, Pj Harvey, Kate Bush, Tori Amos
Just my opinion, though.
New to this website :/

Bjork has had a lot of success in the 2000s so far though

Idk about Tori Amos... but I liked her new album well enough. I feel like a modern classic isn't beyond her, but she has to focus more on a coherent theme. PJ Harvey made a fucking huge comeback in 2011.
