Around 3:30 of 'Atrophy' has that instrument that sounds like Cliffs of Dover (or more like, the piano

in K-Ci & Jojo's 'All My Life' which samples Cliffs of Dover but changes it a little)

I didn't think this was a great review. In the first half especially, there was too much repetition, which I think you were aiming for, but it left it feeling long-winded.

I found the second-last paragraph far too colloquial in wording, with phrases like 'makes you feel like' and 'make it sound like' that I don't think should really be in an album review.

I created an account on this site purely to say that this review is absolutely perfect in describing this album. I've been searching for years to find something even remotely as conceptual and heartbreaking as Hospice only to come crawling back to weep again. It's absolutely perfectly heartbreaking. If you disagree with this then I honestly don't think you've listened to it clearly enough. I love how you basically describe it as a novel because it's an excellent description. Does anyone have any suggestions of a concept album that gives off the same feelings as Hospice? If so I would absolutely love to hear it. Thank you.

Outstanding review. I'd say this is easily one of the best albums from '09.
