Damn a handful of their tracks should have been rock radio hits back then.

Its a shame there was such a huge gap after the misery index, the guys definitely peaked there, songwriting wise. That album is amazing, but I could see them building on it.

This album doesn't have a single wasted second. Been on the playlist for 20 years now.
Great production, impactful lyrics, catchy melodies and great feel.
"Decide- right now -which side you're on!
Invest our freedom in failure by design
Hands tied with pleasure now we're choking on their cum
Guided deception allegiance to a goal
That never mattered until they told us so"
jesus fucking christ. Still relevant a point blank sawed-off shotgun blast to the face.

Yeah their lyrics were always earnest. In terms of quality their whole run from start to finish was always awesome. Easily one of the most consistent bands to exist.
