Baseline: I don't see how it's 'pretty bad'; at its absolute worst it's a pretty inoffensive record.

I didn't say a thing about you having to love it, actually. You could slap a 2.5 on it and I could care less - I can see it not phasing someone, I just have a difficult time thinking someone could think it's bad.

i've only listened to a few songs from this but i get the feeling it's much more solid and consistently good than Lungs. still haven't heard anything i like more than Blinding though.
