Thanks Sowing, edited. Sometimes I tend to come up with a more complicated way to say something simple (don't know why I do that), but I think that's what happened there.



Pretty much with you on Figure 8, it was actually the first Elliott album I loved and eventually got me into his other material. I'd say I like this slightly more now though.

I seem to dart all over the place, sometimes this is my favorite, other times figure 8 is, other times either/or is...etc. figure 8 just seems like the one i go to the most



all in all, i like his slower brooding songs the most like 'needle in the hay', 'somebody that i used to know', 'angel in the snow', 'everything reminds me of her', 'angeles', 'between the bars' and so on

For me I think it depends on the circumstance or my mood. At night I definitely prefer the stripped-down material, but when I want something with more energy Figure 8 is good to go to for songs like Son of Sam and Can't Make a Sound.
