The Package is way worse than The Noose and Blue, and yes arguably APC's worst song

Pet is the 2nd best thing he's ever done but The Package still rapes it. that bass at the beginning yessssss and the lyrics and vocals are perfect

I love the Package, but my least favorite song on 13th Step

This is most of all beats-driven. There's no or very little real drumming involved here.

How could anyone think The Package isn't APC's best song :/

I dunno though, Momma Sed and Vicarious and Ticks & Leeches are pretty fantastic....

yeah telling ghosts is probably the lowest point on here. doesn't really affect this thing as a whole THAT much though.

the title track is addicting as fuck.

Excellent write-up, my friend. Not sure if I want to check it out. I'm really not an APC fan.

As legendary and controversial as he may be, Maynard James Keenan seems quite difficult to pinpoint. His vocals have been downright phenomenal in Tool, almost equally amazing in A Perfect Circle.

@Jethro: Thanks mate. I can see you digging some songs, but you'll be bored by others too. I enjoy it. I'd give it a 3.75 if I could.

@AtavanHalen: I'll try next time. Still, there are people who basically worship him like a God. I'm not one of them. But yeah, every Tool album rules

@Scoot: Agreed. This is much better.

Opening track on this ruled, makes me want to listen to more. So if I liked Thirteenth Step I would like this for sure?

Alright, I'll give this a listen since people who weren't too high on V seem to be enjoying this. And for the record, "The Package" is indeed one of APC's best songs.

I really can't see the comparison between this and Thirteenth Step, their E.P. C is for... is far better than this.

@BassDemon333: Most definitely.

@Deviant.: I linked this track only because it's a lead single and it has a video. Actually, Man Overboard is hardly the best thing on here. I like Telling Ghosts, Toma, The Rapture, Green Valley and the title track the most.

@Acanthus: Really? It definitely shares the same dreamy vibe with that APC album. Plus, 'The Weaver' and 'Weak And Powerless' are basically the same track man. Let's face it. The majority of songs on here could really have been included in 'Thirteenth Step' (of course with a less industrialized production approach) and you wouldn't even have noticed.
