She Is needs a higher rating...I bought this album on the weekend, and from what I remember it's good. I need a few more listens to remember every song. The first four are excellent.

You're just jealous that you didn't meet Isaac. Psh/

I love the fray but i don't think it will last i can't believe you don't like She Is, amazing song great review.

I've always wanted to say this; I knew them before they were big! I saw these guys open for Ben Folds a couple of years ago. Back then I used to call them the poor man's Coldplay. They deserve their success.

The Fray are an enjoyable band, but I think its absurd that they have two guitarists. I mean, they could do the same exact job with one.

Solid pop rock right here.

When I was up at RMU, every college kid up there only listened to "How to Save a Life". We would get into the car, and the first thing they'd ask was "OH MAN DO YOU HAVE THAT ONE SWEET FRAY SONG LET'S LISTEN TO THAT!"
I wanted to kill myself.

C'mon, this isn't that bad.

I heard about the half the album while I was up there. It is that bad. And I don't feel like checking the rest of this out, so out of kindness, I will withhold my rating because I haven't heard the other half.

omg so inspiring...

I heard about the half the album while I was up there. It is that bad. Oh. I was judging on the two singles which aren't all that bad.

"Over My Head" doesn't even make sense in terms of continuity, or anything resembling coherency. Why this, or any of the songs off this album, are popular is beyond me. This band should have been an One-Hit-Wonder. That they've made it this far is sheer luck on their part.
Argh.
And I do have this album, so I'm not getting this from their two singles.

Side-note: I do like the album cover. It's pretty spiffy.

this album is "average". Over my head and How to save a life are really the only two songs i enjoyed on it. There was another ( i don't remember the title of it) that was ok but the other songs all sounded similiar and unimpressive. I dunno, it just got real old real fast and i only liked those three songs....maybe it's just me.

Unoriginal, same formula, etc..Say what you want but that doesn't change the fact that it's good music.
|
| |
in this album I really like every songs!!!:D

I haven't listened to the full album, but I hung out with these guys for a few hours and they were pretty chill. Isaac was reading The Da Vinci Code held by one hand and using the other to play piano during sound check. They played a couple acoustic songs for the group I was with... drummer used maracas or something.

Wow, I think "Look After You" is one of my favorites! After that the album kinda drops a bit, but overall its an enjoyable listen.

this could quite possibly be the worst music review I've ever read, and I've read some bad ones. Don't just tell me the intro drum part and talk about what maybe Isaac is thinking in the song. You don't even give mention that Isaac doesn't even sing the vocals on your favorite song, heaven forbid. Wait, you had no idea it was Joe King who sings on that song? imagine that. Please quit all forms of written expression.
the rating is for you, not the album. This Message Edited On 01.06.08
