Liking this more than I thought I would. Conditioned and The Physics of Gridlock are two of the worst tracks they've done though. Gridlock is as overblown and pretentious as BE without any of the quality.

Still, it's a decent record and I prefer it to RS1. Was hoping for a Remedy Lane-era revival but I guess that'll never happen. Absolutely love that album.

I will partially agree about "Physics of Gridlock", in terms of pretentiousness, but overall is a good track.

Conditioned is excellent in its simplicity, ideal for concerts.

Loved the ying yang reference, and tbh you make the album sound better than it actually is, imo. :D

Excellent work man.

The first listening sessions weren't as enthusiastic, compared to the most recent ones, I'll give you that.

The album is a grower, and the sound style is, in principle, the same with respect to Road Salt One (which i also thoroughly enjoyed, except for the increase in the groove/intensity.

So, that's that :-)

If these two albums get to be re-issued in the far future as a double album, i think the ying yang layoyt of the existing covers would be a great idea..

Since when did sentence structure or ideas have to be conventional in a review?

That's not what I was inferring. Perhaps if you had seen the particular sentence before it was edited you may have understood.

Part 1 was much more introspect than part 2, but each shines within its own light.

That's why they tend to play more songs from Road Salt Two in their recent shows.

They should stop that "our every album is different"-thing and just make as great music as they can!

Well, Gildenlow achieved the sound he was looking for and he did it quite well, kudos to him.

RS1 was alright, nothing great but it was pretty solid.

Apparently I'm weird, but I found the Linoleum EP to be a stronger, cohesive whole than either Road
Salt album. Mortar Grind is pretty bangin' though.
