Why no one ever mentions the great drumming? I totally love the sweet irregular bass drum use as well as the bass rhythms. It gives the music a new, darker, more mature, more mysterious dimension.

Didn't read the whole review. The first sentence is probably one of the funniest to be found on this
website. The same with the cons (no English words=bad).
Great example of evolution of sputnik.

Whilst not quite their heaviest album, 'Unleashed memories' sticks in my mind as the band's most forward-thinking album. The unapologetic excessive use of melody and romantic imagery make this album as beautiful as it is, whereas opener 'Heir of a dying day' and 'Wave of anguish' represent some of the band's more 'epic' material. Cristina's voice soars with might on 'Purify' and 'Senzafine', only to display this level of vocal talent throughout the album consistently.

Pretty cool. I wish they'd stayed with this style longer.

Oh cool. I had to check this and well my American version has the Half Life EP as a bonus! It's really damn good! I love this album. "Stars" is full of such melancholy but still a lifting feeling. Also Andrea growls here in a few songs to much purpose! I don't like growly vocals, at all and I saw them live once and usually Andrea is considered the shit vocalist.
The band got more heavier recently. And his growling here works in short bursts. I never thought Andrea was holding back the band when he sang :P but I only saw them once in Canada a long time ago.
