Alex, there was a fair bit of talk about you guys allegedly calling it quits on last.fm and I got my wires crossed when remembering you guys saying something about a hiatus a while back - obviously you guys meant the one you've taken already. I just added 2 and 2 and got 5. Sorry to perpetuate false rumours. Thanks for the music though and I hope I can finally see you guys live soon!
Wieland, obviously I disagree. I think there are very defined song structures, and I wouldn't call it 'noodling', rather they are passages that you can get lost in - which is a good thing.

the vocals on here are nowhere near as powerful but the rhythm section work is pretty much masterful. too propulsive to not be enjoyable. much better than iselia and whatever other screamo sputnik has creamed over this year.

same here but i've been listening to mostly stuff from previous years. pianos become the teeth's new album is gonna rule. raein and ampere were good this year, there was a pretty good caravels ep and various splits.
