This is actually decent. I really enjoyed the "Time Travel" song. Really chill, and I've hated his other work.

NeverShoutNever is my favorite band of all time. I love his lyrics(That's right his lyrics!) They mean something to me. They help me get through the day. His image is perfect to me. If you listen to his first album and then his newest album, you can just hear the improvement in everything. I don't understand why you guys don't like him. His music is pure bliss. I have yet to find a song that I dislike. His songs are him and he isn't trying to fit in. He's making his music for himself.

It's almost a complete reinvention for Never Shout Never on their 3rd LP 'Time Travel'... And "their" is the correct word to use, since this is now a fully-fledged quartet, not just Christofer Ingle. While hints of sappy acoustic pop still exist, this album displays more of a bombastic & spacey pop-rock atmosphere... Kind of like 30 Seconds To Mars meets Queen. And blow me down, it actually works for the most part, with 'Time Travel' sounding genuinely cohesive, if not always successful. This LP may polarize their existing teenage fanbase, but Never Shout Never may be on to something here! Recommended Tracks: Robot, Lost at Sea & Complex Heart.

It's their best album for sure. I much prefer the subject matter of his lyrics. To me, he doesn't pull
off love like Iron & Wine or Frank Sinatra can, I'll say that. ;)
His old stuff was far too mushy like a bad rom-com rather then truly romantic and as a male over the
age of 13, it's hard to relate but this is a far more cohesive album for sure, I totally agree with
Davey on that! =)
But still, when you compare it to their peers, it doesn't hold up nearly as well as a pop-rock album.

Tbh Stephen, I'm flabbergasted that you even listened to this. Good stuff.

Oh hey, thanks Davey. =)
It's good but I think there are simply much better pop-rock bands out there.
Lyrically, it doesn't annoy me as much as What is Love which is good but his voice still isn't hitting the right notes with me (There's a pun somewhere there. =) ). It's the way he overly pronounces some of his vowels that bothers me.
It's different but he ends up emphasizing words that aren't that grand. Makes me wonder what he's trying to actually say in some cases when the word 'the' is more exclaimed then the final line of the verse. =P
I read about their new album coming out this year though, apparently it has all sorts of ska, rockabilly and 60's rock influences in it. I would've preferred if they focused on this genre a bit more but at least their is a consistent uphill in their work now. =)
