This album is actually pleasant to listen to, but with Uli Roth the albums were better and better. Honourable mentions: I'm Goin' Mad; It All Depends; Inheritance.
In a few days i'll start reviewing Scorps' discography.

It definitely has its moments but it's so so imo.

I understand what you're sayin'.

Also, good luck in their discog it's more consistent than Heep's.
|
| |
Thanks man, i'm a big fan of Scorps but i'll try to be impartial.
|
| |
Looking forward to your discog, daniel. Hoping to see a lot of love for Uli Jon Roth.
|
| |
Thank you, Jamie. And of course, Roth certainly was the creative force of the Scorps and he's probably the best German guitarist i've ever heard!

| |
I'm already working on the first reviews, in a few days i'll start to publish them.

You're doing a Scorps disc ?
That's really great. This band needs more love in Sputnik.

You'll do only studio albums ?
|
| |
Excluding the studio albums, i'll probably just review Tokyo Tapes, World Wide Live and Acoustica. But if you guys want me to review any compilation/live album/EP feel free to ask.

I think the only "secondary" album that needs a review is "The Best Of Scorpions Vol. 2". You can also
do "Comeblack".
|
| |
Sure, i can do those, no problem.

I'll gives this a 3 on the basis that this album does sound interesting.I think the first half is much better where the last half kind of slips away a little bit LOL perhaps a little weak at times.

This is slightly underrated, I'm Goin' Mad and Inheritance are among their best songs

This gets better everytime I listen to it tbh
|
| |
Yeah I've been digging it lately too, not as boring as I remember but then again I hadn't jammed this in years

t/t is way better than I remember, it is true that its sections aren't connected in a pretty good way, but independently they all rule hard, plus its "ambient" moments aren't that long so it isn't a problem. Its bass is GOAT
|
| |
Yeah the rhythm section on this is actually top notch. Shame those guys didn't stay any longer, but then again it was their departure that made way for the Uli era. Michael Schenker is also pretty great on this.

so is Klaus Meine, that scream at the end of the first half of the t/t gets me everytime, such an underrated vocalist
