'That's cool bro, but "brutal" breakdowns don't constitute a quality album.'
Yes they do.
And I rated this on first listen, it's probably more of a 3 than a 3.5.

Oh and I forgot to pos the first time, so here you go.

Album Rating: 3.5
I don't think a 3.5 is ridiculous for this album but it should be the highest rating given for it.

@Eulogize
Thanks for the POS, but we will always differ on what makes a good album. Anyone can do open note breakdowns all day.

I'm surprised no one has talked about the deathcore/dubstep interlude "Liberate Me Ex Inferis."
|
| |
I'd be surprised if anyone got that far into the album

I feel lonely here, but I LOVE this album. Easily my favorite progressive/melodic deathcore record. Way better than new Volumes, which is boring as shit. This band never bores me, I love their vocals and instrumental work, and songwriting is also top notch.

Never thought I'd say this, but this is a lot better in my eyes than the new Structures.

Yeah, this would probably be much better without the cleans.

Screamer sounds like he tries too hard to come across as aggressive or s/s. Clean vox interrupt the flow for me.
|

I don't consider this progressive in the least bit.
