That has to be one of the most self-explanatory song titles I've ever heard.

Nobody's perfect though.

dude
Now the bass was probably an afterthought for this album, after all, Shavo Odadjian had nothing to do with this album at all. He didn’t write or record any of the material, Daron did it all and he clearly didn’t think too much about it because the bass doesn’t really stand out whatsoever at all.

he played 3 trackes man and they were the better tracks

Umm...I never called the band hypocrites in my review I don't know why everyone thinks I did.

Thanks for the compliments and critizims, they have all been taken into account.

I agree with Nick. This one of your weaker reviews.

Not the best review format in the world... but then I just do a track by track so take that for what it's worth.

Still you got your opinion across nicely and it's always good to see the other side's opinion of an album. I didn't think this was a mind blowing album at all but I still enjoyed it and it was on par with most of SOAD's work.

I do think that you missed a hell of a lot of irony in the lyrics but since they weren't clear enough for you to interpret your criticism is still perfectly valid in my eyes.

that was a horrible review. I just ate some better dog food a few minutes ago. Hes not asking why dont the presidents fight war, what he means by that is "the president sits around in his white house while the poor people does his dirty work". Personally, I think you totally misinterpreted the lyrics and im not going to get into the rest of it because it will be longer than your review, just for what you had to say about the lyrics.
keep trying though.

"yes, irony, lots of irony indeed. They are a serious band, but they display what i think to be a good balance of seriousness and humor."

Is it just me or does this comment as a double post make it look like exojjl here is arguing with the voices in his head?

It's still not that good of a review. Most of your ideas don't ever really make it across to the reader.

"Musically this song is somewhat epic sounding especially during the song."

is a good example. This IS music. So, really, there's no other faction of the music for it to be separate "musically." It isn't visible, scented, or touchable--it's just music. How can a song be somewhat epic? In literature, there are epics (Ovid and Homer), and there is other literature; but there is no in-between. And when else would the song sound epic besides "during the song"?

But I'm being a grammar snob. It's a good effort, but there are certain reviews on this site that actually portray the site professionally. Most of the reviews of DFelon, BuddyBigsby, or any of the mods are such. You miss much of the purpose of reviewing.

"Epic" is defined in music terms as either a long song from a band or the only big hit that Faith No More had in their career.

The last word is a misprint, but a song can be epic if it seems to standout above the rest of the album and so much and so on.

My point was that there is no median between the extremes of epic and not epic. "Somewhat epic" does not exist.

Your opinion.
Kripes, the "cocks" in "Cigaro" are the parts of tanks that shoot ammo. It's a song about political leaders bragging to each other on who has the best troops.
Whatever, I never analyzed the lyrics for that song. All I did was show what the lyrics for that song were and say that they were offending no matter what their meaning.

Stop arguing about the lyrics. Besides, we all know the "Non-stop disco betcha its Nabisco" line is the best on the album.
