So, just listened and my first impression is that's a pretty enjoyable pop record. Although I find her voice maybe a bit awkward and some songs drag a bit, stuff like "A Sail", "What I'll Do" and "Paper House" is pretty great.
Not sure if I'm comfortable with a 3.5, so for now it's a high 3 =)

It's definitely decent pop thoroughfare...I just wish she had kept the charm and character of her debut a bit more. It's just a bit too mediocre, isn't it?
|
| |
I don't want to believe you. This will be great.

Haven't heard the debut, so really can't compare.
But I wouldn't say this is mediocre... It's just a tad inconsistent

The stream is on the first page if you want to see if I'm right/wrong, Waior ;)

I don't want to test my faith in you (or Lisa, for that matter), haha.

Um yeah Sowing you're only forgetting like Xenophanes, mallen, iFght, and ConsiderPhlebas when you say that ;)
But thanks. Ilu =)

Phlebas is the only one out of that list who holds a candle to you, but he doesn't review anymore.
I know you won't embrace it though, you are far too humble.
|
| |
This site could use more of that humility. As long as it's not Observer's false modesty-humility, the whole world could, really. There's honestly no reason why anybody should eat up and embrace praises... staying humble means you always are pushing yourself towards something bigger. And that's why Irving is as good as he is now.
And that's hypocritical, granted, coming from me. But true.
|
| |
Yeah never said there's anything wrong with it. I used to be almost as humble as Irving, I miss that...
|
| |
Haha, didn't mean for it seem like I was reprimanding you. I was just observing because I hadn't really thought about it in a Sputnik context before.
