@insomniac15:

Well I guess I should check his solo work, should I start with this album ?

Start with Radio K.A.O.S.. It's a lot more accessible for beginners =)

Oh and his Dark Side Of The Moon and Wall tours didn't help my opinion on him (I know the fans want it but he should just let go, it's Pink Floyd's work, not entirely his', he's just milking the albums)

That may be true, but frankly most'd give about anything to see a bit of the Floyd again, and as Wright is dead, Mason has disappeared into obscurity, and Gilmour has just about entirely abandoned the whole thing I'd say that Roger is about the best one can hope to have. In my humble opinion we'd better enjoy it while it lasts - even if all it is shameless milking of former glories. One day all of this will be gone, and memories will be all that we have =/

@ Voivod:

Thanks mate =) Your readership is much appreciated.

@ Aids:

woah this review is massive, but I will read it because:

a) Roger Waters m/

b) Irving Tan Zhi Mian m/

LOL gee thanks Aids XD So what did you think of the review? And have you tried this album out before, by any chance?

while technically correct I think we can all agree that he was probably more like 50% of what made Pink Floyd so awesome.

Yup, fair enough. Without him look what happened to the Floyd (although The Division Bell is quite underrated to be fair).

It's one of my biggest regrets that I'll probably never see Gilmour and Mason live. Damn you guys were so lucky.

Hahahha

Yes...I believe I'm a very lucky guy. Seeing Floyd live was an unique experience, even without Waters.

They played also Astronomy Domine. Definitely one of the highlights.

Man the closest I have come to Astronomy Domine live was when I watched a cover band play it at a nightclub in Ottawa (it was actually not bad at all). You sir, are very lucky indeed =) For a (relatively) young greenhorn like me, the Roger Waters tours are about the best I can hope for (caught The Wall Live about a year ago, which was neat).

Are you Portuguese, TheNotrap?

Well, I am old. Notrap is not. And I try to remember how I've missed The Wall tour. Also, I've never really seen Gilmour nor Mason; They were much too far. Special effects were damn great though.

Hahaha, okay I'll try and stop turning green with envy at you guys at this point ;) Why did you miss The Wall Live, Monsieur Quarantedeux? And did any of you folks catch the Dark Side of the Moon Live tour? I hadn't gotten into the Floyd at the time and the chance passed me by completely =(

Damn, Notrap, I assume you went to The Wall with your father. As for Dark side of the Moon, I think some big brothers of some friends of mine were there. Now The Wall tour....mmm It's prolly that I was not able to find any tickets, and I was not tempted to sleep outdoor around the Montréal Forum 2 days long. (my comp is incredibly slow atm, so I am haha)
