This is an interesting EP. I really like the musicianship and the refined, mature sound they've got going, as well as how well composed their songs are. The reason this is a 3.5 to me though, as opposed to a 4.5, is that I don't feel compelled to come back for a second listen. As well composed as the songs are, nothing really 'hooks' me.

treetops is actually one of my favorites in this album, i guess because it was the first song i heard (being the opening track) and it came as a pleasant surprise
