That one in Constance is pretty damn subtle. Even if I did even notice it the times I listened to the album, it still probably wouldn't have done anything for me.
And I wouldn't really call the intro to Pretenders a build-up because its climax isn't like, epic or anything. It's just the first verse of the song. Intros introduce, build-ups build up.
