Album has always seemed more natural to me than Lateralus. I believe due to APC Maynard recorded some of Lateralus separate from the band (I could be wrong, though) and it seems to affect some kind of subtle cohesive property to me, making some of the songs feel a little forced. Aenima arguably had the biggest impact on me of any album ever and is easily my most listened to album of all time. The clean interludes in Third Eye are probably my most nostalgic sections of any song by any band. Good review.

I wouldn't think it's a 'secret' this is their best album. I find it hard to believe Undertow gets overlooked so often...easily better than Lateralus for me.

i kinda take back my statement. i like the interludes here usually, but cesaro summability is just dumb.

yeah most of them are dumb but they're just about entertaining enough to not be skip worthy
