I enjoy when artists stop trying to all-out-innovate for an album and just be themselves, sometimes the results are truly wonderful.

That's true for this album, Acanthus - best thing he's done in 30 years.

It's just crazy that he's been putting out music for so long period, and not of the "same album rehashed" ala AC/DC variety.

I wish Slip Away had better lyrics. I know "Uncle Floyd" references a show from the 80s, but it sounds stupid and overly-dramatic.
