I'm sorry to say I actually like these guys. I think it's due to the fact that I saw them live. Lead singer was not autotuned and they were probably the nicest dudes I have ever met. I wont disagree with everything you said though. Give them another album, have the singer not try to sing at the top of his lungs all the time and maybe.... just maybe they will find there place.

I have to say I enjoyed a lot of songs from this album, but I usually tend to enjoy most post-hardcore and metalcore. I don't see a point in being an elitist or discriminating. More music for me to listen to then.
And yeah I saw them live, and they really were the nicest dudes ever. I talked to the vocalist and guitarist for a while and they were totally stoked to play and just happy with life. So kudos to them for doing what they want and not letting the haters get to them.

I live in North Dakota. I went through a phase where I would go to local shows and these guys played a lot of them. They are really really really bad. They are decent guys, but they make awful music. North Dakota scene kids love them for some reason. It is really annoying.

Teen-baiting young popcore act These Hearts specialize in emulating trends on their Craig Owens produced debut LP 'Forever Ended Yesterday'. Playing a messy mixture of catchy pop-punk & heavier metalcore, the North Dakota quintet desperately need to work on their awkward transitions. Despite too many forced breakdowns, some melodic guitar lines impress, while the uplifting - occasionally christian - lyrics surprise. Unfortunately, both the high-pitched clean vocals & low growls need drastic improvement, because despite some potential, These Hearts are anything but innovative. Recommended Tracks: Denial is Not Just a River in Egypt & Live to the Point of Tears.
