Great review as usual. I agree that this is a cup of overflowing ego soup, but I think that's part of the appeal. The "I made 'Jesus Walks'" line made me cringe, though. "Otis" is pretty weak altogether.

review is really good by the way. it pretty much sums up my feelings about this album.

I disagree. I think the album works because of the air of confidence they both exude, I don't think the title is a middle school taunt, I think it's founded and evidenced here. Each to their own though.

I also don't think this is anywhere close to as good as MBDTF but it was still a very enjoyable and really exciting listen.
