It's a terrible scare, but that's why the dark is there

This is a good album, but I agree that it lacked the playful, energetic vibe they previously had and I found myself missing it. Present Tense is a bit closer even though it continues in a slightly more mellowed out direction.

This one definitely has a more winter-y vibe.
