"new drummer Nick Augusto's excellent drumming." - I'm surprised no one is mentioning it. This is their worst drum work till date. The drums are so stale and have zero energy in them and are predictable as hell. Travis Smith is A LOT better drummer than Nick.

Sorry mate but I think this needs some work. There isn't really any genuine critique to it, you have just come across as lovey dovey over it mate. Its alright if the album is that brilliant but you need to genuinely sell it and explain why, which you haven't done. Keep trying thought mate, don't let everyone just come in and have a go without actually helping you out mate.

Also don't understand why these guys get so much hate.Fully undeserved in my opinion, they have phenomenal songs, excellent guitar work and admittedly there are much stronger vocalist's than Heafy but not to the point of genuine hatred most of you lot have given him.

Combining brutal screams, chugging guitar riffs and thunderous drums - In Waves is about as complete a catalogue of Trivium's music as you could wish for.
