Holy shit. As a bassist, this album makes me orgasm. This'll be getting a lot of play for a lot of time.
I can understand the comparison with Tosin, seeing as they were in Reflux together, and they both have an innovative playing style, but yeah, their styles aren't really too similar beyond that. Like it was said; solo bassists are usually jazz/funk players, compared to metal/neoclassical/prog solo guitarists. But still; I'd love to see Tosin and Brewer work together again.
