I agree with everything in the review. Although, other PTM stuff uses horns, this is not due to being on a major label. It is a great CD, but certainly it could have been more. I think the band is going to grow from this point forward, and I expect their next CD to be more experimental. I love Gourley, but do any other fans feel like his voice got boring on this CD? I would not mind hearing more Zack and Ryan, who have amazing vocals in their own right.

at first all of these tracks sounded the same to me but it's definitely grown
btw I hear what sounds like a bunch of nods to mgmt throughout, and the chorus of the last track sounds like something oasis would write. This is deff better than oracular spectacular though

marching with 6 is their best song tho

CHECK THIS SHIT OUT

i haven't read this yet because i'm fucking retarded but if anyone complains about these guys not taking their time... PTM does not rush their shit, they literally just work on their music 11 months out of 12. when i met them in september they described pretty articulately what their next LP was going to sound like because they started writing for it before american ghetto was even released. these guys just have their band clock on double time. i don't see the point in mentioning the gap between each of their albums.
that being said, decent review but like... 3.5...
