i think the vocals are pretty cool. very different from most deathcore stylings, esp. his high's. i just listened to the full album today and i don't think it's half as bad as what everyone says.

HOW?! His vocals are grating as fuck, how can you sit there, finish the album and say "Wow, what a good record. I really love his vocals, I don't think he sounds like anyone else in the genre. This will change people's minds about deathcore and maybe death metal in general."

I'll have to agree with the review. I wasn't necessarily a huge fan of Desolation of Eden but i enjoyed playing a few songs here and there for the minor breakdowns. This album just had me hoping for something special, which never came.

I got a headache listening to Koehler's highs on Desolation of Eden. They're still ridiculously bad here, but I didn't get a headache. I dunno if it's just better or if Chelsea is slowly growing on me like a foot plague (dear nonexistent god I hope not).

I saw them twice and once was on the biggest tour of their lives, the Welcome to Hell tour (ft. Whitechapel, The Acacia Strain, Veil of Maya and I Declare War). They should have been at their best on that tour.

I saw them with Broceano last November and they kicked ass, then on The Welcome To Hell tour and again they were insane, then I saw them on the Ignite the world tour and it was disappointing what made it worse was it was on my birthday lol... Hopefully they turn it up when I see them on the All Stars tour next thursday
