Oh, and for this whole goth/emo debate - Acanthus is right. Emo is a relatively new term, and Goth has been kicking since the very late seventies in England where it began with bands like Bauhaus.
I heard a funny way of separating the two, once: Emo's want to kill themselves and Goths want to kill everyone else. Make of that, what you will.
